How to Turn On 2FA for AeroFS

Please note: Specific instructions for enabling 2FA are subject to change without notice. Please check with each website or app for the most up-to-date information on this feature.

Two-factor authentication lets you add an extra layer of security to your AeroFS account. If you enable 2FA, whenever you log in to your account, you'll be prompted for your normal login credentials, as well as a 6-digit authentication code you read off your phone or other mobile device. With 2FA enabled, even if an attacker steals your password, or gains access to your email account, they still won't be able to log in to AeroFS without also having access to your phone.

1. Go to your Settings.

2. Locate the 2FA settings page and click Set Up.

3. Scan the QR code or type in your secret (depending on the app you’re using).

4. Enter the first 6-digit code from your mobile device to enable 2FA on your account.

5. Download and print your backup codes, and keep them in your wallet or somewhere safe.
