Fairwinds utilizes 2FA to verify a member's identity when attempting to access Mobile and Online banking.
1. With 2FA enabled, account access from a new device requires the completion of a knowledge-based challenge and a possession-based challenge.
2. The knowledge-based challenge is represented with a password, and the possession-based challenge is represented with the member’s phone and email.
3. You first log in to your account using your username and password. Next, you will have to enter a code that you received to either your phone (as a text message or voice call) or your email.
4. If the code that you enter is correct, you will gain access to your account.
