How to Turn on 2FA for GOG.com

Please note: Specific instructions for enabling 2FA are subject to change without notice. Please check with each website or app for the most up-to-date information on this feature.

GOG.com offers an extra layer of protection to your account with two-step login. As an optional feature, two-step login is highly recommended by GOG.com. When something unusual happens, such as logging in from a new browser or location, 2FA will make sure that there's no way to gain unauthorized access to your GOG.com account without both your GOG password and your email account.

1. Log in to GOG.com as you usually would and click “Account.”

2. Click “Orders & Settings” and go to the “Login and Security” section.

3. Next, click the “Enable” button next to “Two-Step Login.”

4. Follow the verification steps and you’re all done! Every once in a while, GOG.com will ask you to verify your identity with a 4-character security code sent to your email.
